DRAWFORTWO
A few things you might want to know
Quick answers before you make your first mark.
hey@drawfortwo.comIs DrawForTwo free?
Yes. You can draw alone, create a shared room and download your drawing for free.
Do we need accounts?
No DrawForTwo account is required. Your room membership is remembered in the browser you use to join.
How many people can join?
Each shared room has two places. Create another room if you want a different drawing partner.
Can we draw at the same time?
Yes. Both people draw on the same canvas and receive each other’s strokes with a short connection delay. An internet connection is required for shared drawing.
Are drawings public?
Drawings are not listed in a public gallery. Keep your invitation private: anyone with it can take an available place in the room. The invitation is not a password-protected account.
What happens when the connection drops?
Unsaved strokes stay in the open page and retry when the connection returns. Do not close or refresh the page while it says Reconnecting. Download after all strokes have saved.
How do I delete a shared room?
The person who created the room can open its invitation panel and choose Delete room. This removes the drawing and both memberships from active storage. Previously downloaded copies cannot be deleted remotely.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. Draw using touch on a phone or tablet, or use a mouse or stylus. The tools sit below the canvas on narrow screens.
